Hill CONTENT: LUNWICKER - an account of a "burglar" in the Lunwicker home on south Main Street in Silver City - front page - 12 column inches STANLEY YELLOWSTONE EXPEDITION - General Rosser in command of the expedition has reported to the Northern Pacific Railroad his conclusions - more - front page - 7.5 column inches ELKO LETTER - Cornucopia Mine is a "Bilk" - miners are leaving, bilked of their investments - front page - 3 column inches CARSON MINT - Coinage on August 22 was half-dollars - a 2:30pm one of the dies fractured and further coinage suspended - duplicate die replaced, more on dies and pressure, etc - page two - 2.5 column inches [numismatics] OREGON WANTS THE MODOCS - all Indians wanted for crimes other than those already sentenced to be hanged are to be sent to Oregon - Federal gov't to respond soon - page two - 1 column inch CAPTAIN
