This auction is for the following tobacco card: ACC designation : HM-7 Card : President U.S. Grant & Samuel J. Tilden metamorphic card Product : Blackwell's Genuine Durham Tobacco Issuer : C.C. Heisler (Philadelphia) Lithographer : Donaldson Bros. Size : 3 3/8 x 5 3/4Large, attractive advertising card issued sometime prior to the 1876 presidential election, featuring two of the top popular picks for the high office (at the time - Grant would end up not seeking a 3rd term). Great metamorphic card - when closed, Tilden's image and poem appears, and when fully opened it reveals Grant and the rest of the poem.
