small printed invitation with engraving of torpedo on top saying" You and your friends are respectfully invited to witness an axhibition of the Lay Moveable Torpedo at the Washington Navy Yard atfour o'clock P.M. Saturday May 20th 1876 respectfully J.L.Lay. the written matter is printed in red the torpedo is in black. it measures 5 x 2 3/4". not damaged. postage fee of 3.00 for priority USA mail inc. del. conf. please note We will be unavailable for business from July 5 thru July 15 with visiting grandchildren. items purchased and paid for during that time will be shipped right after the 15. sorry for inconvenience.
