Scabbard measures 21 1/8", the Sword measures 20 5/8", the total length of the Bayonet is 26". Model 1874 "Gras" Sword Bayonet, very nice patina on the hardwood handle and Brass Pommel with working Integral Latching Mechanism with push button steel spring. Steel Crossguard and Hooked Quillion (Blade Breaker) made in 1877, (Details of manufacture inscribed on the spine of the blade that reads: "Mre d' Armes De St Etienne Fiurieu or (Fiuriev) 1877 ".
