Detailed description on our website.Typically the Morgan silver dollar series is regarded as the most popular type of collectible U.S. coins. Large size, handsome design elements and relative availability put these treasured antiques at the top of most collector want lists. Chief among the Morgan dates are those produced at the famed Carson City Mint. Built as a point of convenience for the Comstock Lode, this short-lived, historic institution generally struck coins in the lowest quantity of any U.S. Mint branch. Tie in the difficulties and disturbances of operating during the "Wild West" era, and it's easy to see why these low mintage coins are always in high demand. Offered dates are: 1878-CC (FN); 1882-CC (AU/BU); 1883-CC (AU/BU); 1884-CC (BU); 1890-CC (VF).
