Description:A very rare specimen indeed! This 1879 re-issue of the 1869 original stamp is carmine and black in color, regummed and shows a right facing bust of Abraham Lincoln with "United States Postage 90 Ninety Cents". As shown this stamp has no grill but great perforations and vibrant colors. It measures roughly 7/8" across the perfs and is Scott number 132. It HAS a certification with it dating to 1974 from The Philatelic Foundation in New York with original blue pen signature of the chairman. In fantastic condition, ready to add to your collection!
