1880 25C Indian Octagonal 25 Cents, BG-799X, R.3, MS66 Prooflike NGC. This octagonal quarter dollar issue is attributed to maker F.H. Noble of Chicago. The present Premium Gem is in the later die state, showing the wreath bow recut. The prooflike fields and yellow-gold color are hallmarks of the variety.
