1880 3CN MS66 PCGS. Flynn-RPD-001. The second 8 in the date is clearly repunched north, evident in both loops. Flynn and Breen list the variety for proofs, but the obverse die may also have struck a portion of the 21,000-piece business mintage. The present satiny Premium Gem is well struck and unabraded with light to medium steel-gray and chestnut-gold toning. Grade: 66, Service: PCGS, Service No.: 3748, Issue Date: 1880, Denomination: 3CN
