Check it out...Here's a very cool approximately 5" wide by 3" tall single-sided business card from an 1880-90s era Michigan City Lumber dealer in Lafayette, Indiana-The card reads: "Snyder & Berryhill, Wholesale and Retail Dealers in Michigan City Lumber, Laths, Shingles, Palings & c. Lafayette, Indiana Office with Brown & Lyman, First St. near Union Mills. Lumber by the car load, sent direct to any station desired. Prices Down." with a handwritten name & address of the salesman inset on front and is blank on back- The card is in great condition with usual light wear and soiling expected from age and normal use- These throwaway items are often the hardest to find- How many of them survived?
