1880-CC 8/7 Top-100 $1 VAM-6 GSA Hoard Certified Morgan Silver Dollar w/ Box & COANGC MS64Top 100 Variety. A pleasing variety that is easy to see. Totally frosty, mint fresh with toning 4:00 obv. edge. Very choice, PQ quality. NGC certified VAM-6 GSA Hoard. GSA Hoard adds more rarity to this bold overstrike date.The VAM-6 Obverse: Re-punched 8 over 7 in the date with the original 7 punched low. The ears are faint above the 8 with the crossbar and stem of the 7 showing boldly. The bottom of the 7's stem shows well below the 8. There is a dash under the second 8.Reverse: The CC mint mark has a dot of metal in the center of each C. There is a Die scratch showing through M of America as well as a polishing line going through the bottom of the eagle's right wing.Since 1961, our corporation, H.S.
