His incisive, and very thorough analysis of this remarkable group of people is really a joy to read. Daniel begins the article with a nice history of the Acadian people in Louisiana and tabouts . He deals with their particular patois, and even gets into the different regional idiosyncrasies of the Cajuns themselves-Bayou people in contrast to the Cajuns inhabiting the" prairies".
