To get the best possible pictures I've done a lot of reading and I've purchased a "full spectrum" "natural light" lights so I can get the true color of the coin. I feel that since I'm not a pro by a long shot that it’s very important that I get good pictures so you can see every scratch, nick, pit, and to be able to see any kind of errors. They say that a picture is worth a 1000 words! I also handle any coins that look even close to BU with clean white gloves. I've seen coins with fingerprints burned into them.
