This week I will be listing selections from an incredible estate collection of oil lamps. I am not an expert but will try to identify the lamps correctly--any information or corrections appreciated. This auction offers a "Bradford" pattern lamp made in the 1880s by Adams & Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is pictured on page 262 (figure D) of the first Thuro book. The plain font is accented by a beaded four-panel stem and fancy base. The lamp measures 7 1/2" high to the top of the brass collar and 4 1/2" across at the base. It is in very good estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs noted. T are a few straw marks and bubbles expected on antique glass. This oil lamp will be a lovely addition to any collection! The cost of U.S. shipping and very careful packing varies with your postal zone. Please see the USPS estimate above. And be sure to check my other auctions for more great oil lamps to save on combined shipping!
