A NTIQUE - CIRCA 1880'S BRADLEY & HUBBARD "ELEPHANT" BASE BANQUET OIL KEROSENE LAMP -I have been in the antique lighting & antique lighting restoration business for 50-years & have become the biggest stocking dealer of restored Victorian Art Glass lighting in America with over 250 Patterned Art Glass Lamps alone and several hundred rare and exotic banquet lamps from the 19th Century. In fact, I wrote the book on "19 th Century Patterned Art Glass Chamber Lighting" (see inset photo) a few years back which sold out in 60-days. Today that book is Out-Of-Print but can still be found on aftermarket Internet sites. If you are one of the lucky ones to own a copy you have a pictorial index to my collection of Victorian patterned art-glass lamps. Approaching 70 now, I have decided to begin parting out my entire collection of lamps through my store @ "19 th Century Lighting Co." and through my ebay account "The-Lampman". Most of these lamps have been restored to their pristine original condition and presentation using all of their original parts and some are still in unrestored original condition still in oil with all of their original parts and pieces - this Elephant Lamp is in the unrestored but in mint condition considering its age of 125-135 years of age.
