I appreciate your courtesy!! ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Aloha, Up for auction from a recent estate in Honolulu Hawaii this 1880s Japanese color Kakemonoe woodblock print by well-known artist Yoshitoshi. There is a collection sheet with it that gives some additional information as follows: Single vertical diptych with this one titled “Picture of the drunken Rochi breaking the staue of Kongo at Godaisan“ signed Yoshitoshi, artist name Tsukioka Yonejiro, Publisher Hasagawa Tsunejiro, Engraver Chokuzan, date none. The items were inspected by an Asian Fine Arts appraiser that gave me the information above and confirmed the authenticity of the pieces. The shipping rate quoted is for the most economical way, tube shipping and is for the print only (no inscribed backing and mat). In case you would like to get it flat with the mat and backing it will be $10 more. I combine shipping so the more you buy the cheaper shipping will get. These are the first of about 1000 lots of mostly 19 th century Japanese woodblock prints by various artists that were accumulated over the past 75 years by a well-known collector in Honolulu. A Japanese Fine Arts appraiser is working with me and helps with the description, condition report and valuation. The focus of the collection is on works of Taisho Yoshitoshi but there are many pieces by other artists too. Shipping: Although Hawaii is part of the United States, it is important to know when purchasing items that shipping times can be a bit longer and shipping charges can be a bit higher than for the US mainland. Packing material : I charge you my costs for all packing materials used. However, this is Hawaii and not the continental US, and everything has to be shipped in from out of state. To give you an idea, a shipping box, if it is not a free one from the Post Office, costs between $4 - $9 . Bubble wrap costs $1 per foot and I usually use at least 3 or 4 feet or more for breakable items. Foam chips per box (book box size) will be between $8 - $10, and packing tape costs me $3 a small roll. Please understand that I can no longer be responsible for lost or damaged items that are not insured. International buyers small, Priority flat rate boxes are not offering reliable tracking.
