1882, $50 National Bank Note. The Santa Barbara County NB, Santa Barbara, CA. Very Fine. Fr-563. This California rarity is one of six surviving examples known from this bank, but just two-dozen reported examples of the type are recorded in the Kelly census from the entire state. It is boldly signed and with solid paper for the grade, although the colors are a touch faded. Attractive overall, and likely to inspire spirited bidding from California specialists.
