INDIANAPOLIS WEEKLY TIMES - 1882 Up for Auction is a BOUND FULL YEAR SET of the INDIANAPOLIS WEEKLY TIMES from 1882. Begins with January 5, 1882 and Ends with December 28, 1882. Paper is every Thursday - Weekly Times all the way until October 12th and then changes to THE INDUSTRIAL TIMES - but is the "same" paper - just changed name titles. Main event of this year is the Trial of the man (Guiteau) who assassinated President Garfield. Condition of outside book is Fair to Good. The TOP HARDCOVER of the BOOK has become detatched, however papers are still bound together. Binding seems to be in good condition. Please see pics - and if you need more pics I can probably take more and send them to you if need be. First page of newspaper is wrinkled - as well as are the last FEW pages of the book. However... the rest of the papers within are in more than good condition. Paper has good color. No holes or major tears. Can read it this paper pretty much like one off the stand today - except for our larger print today. (yeah) I have looked through and read many articles from this paper and it is more than just interesting reading. Amazing to read this and actually feel you are a part of whats happening. I guess it is due to it being written as the NOW although it was more than 125 years ago. My dad obtained these bound papers years and
