Up for bid is a scarce all glass threaded lid for an Eclipse jar. This lid is embossed ECLIPSE JAR PAT SEPT 12th-1882 JAN 3 1883 in bold raised letters on top of lid. It is 2&13/16" inside diameter and 3&3/8" outside diameter by 1"tall. The inside is threaded. T are three vertical lug lines on outside of lid. T is an area of yellow in the glass which can be seen in the photos. T is some minor roughness on the inside rim. T is one tiny chip on the very edge of the bottom rim which can be seen in the photo. T are no chips/roughness on the inside threads. The top and side are in excellent condition. T are no cracks or repairs. Amazing condition for the age.E-mail with questions.
