Up for Bids: This is some kind of presentation piece from Mr and Mrs A Jonnard to Mr and Mrs George A Dickel. This is dated 1860-1885 which means its a 25th anniversary piece for something. This piece is made by the Rogers Smith Silver Co and is marked on the back. It also has the number 218 on the back or it could be a 213 just not sure the #8 could be a 3. This piece measures about 8 1/4" x 7". It is very heavy for the size. I thought this might be part of a Christmas Tree Fence then I thought a Calling Card Tray but I am just not sure. I am hoping that someone will see and let me know. What is a little weird is the names and the date is upside down according the way the little child is standing in the middle. It is heavily ornate.
