This is a beautiful example of the Morgan Dollars that were minted in San Francisco. The surfaces are bright and the contrast with the devises hints at "proof like." There is rim toning on both obverse and reverse. When this coin was purchased it was in a holder from the company that originally graded and marketed a large part of the Redfield Hoard. The coin was submitted to NGC for grading in the original holder. NCS evaluated the coin and returned it in one of its holders; UNK DETAILS, "improperly cleaned."
