EXCEPTIONAL "Mt. Washington decorated" satin glass shade for a victorian parlor lamp....dates c. 1885....I've owned many of these shades/lamps, however this is by far and away the prettiest....decal-decoration consists of 9 cherubs, 7 butterflies, 1 bird, and numerous roses....measures 6 5/8" tall, 11" wide, with a 10" diameter fitter....very good condition with several minor shallow chips along the top ground edge, as shown in photos #7 through #11....fitter edge is excellent....no cracks or repairs....lovely and scarce shade....please study all photos, feel free to ask questions, and be sure to check out my other interesting antique auctions!
