Kellam 1885 FIRST EDITION Hard Bound **Signed By Ironquill to his friend C. C. Cory. Who, Later inscribed the book and gifted it to a public library for display in what he thought was "a most fitting monument to Ironquill." Ware was a Civil War veteran, attorney, Editor of the Fort Scott Monitor, and served two terms in the Kansas legislature His verses portray witty and breathtaking views of the Kansas of his day as well as commentary on a variety of topics ranging from medieval history to contemporary politics. 5.5" X 8.5" 155 numbered pages Beautiful Book!!! Book has light bumps to spine edges and a separation at the head of title page.. Inside Clean and Tight - Free of Markings in the Text.. VERY NICE!!!! This was NOT marked by the library in ANY WAY !!!!
