Octavo, gilt stamped cloth, 181 pages + adverts. First edition."Franz Hartmann (22 November 1838 - 7 August 1912) was a German medical doctor, theosophist , occultist , geomancer , astrologer , and author. His works include several books on esoteric studies and occult biographies." In this work a man traveling through the Tyrolia Alps is led into a secret sanctuary of the Rosicrucians .Condition: This book measures 7 ½ inches by 5 inches. Some wear to foot and crown and corners, front hinge cracked. Pencil inscription on front fly; pencil notes on back blank page. Overall very good.
