MEAS.6 3/8"L by 2"bowlweight 1.4oz reg scalemarked on stem I love all sterling from the Aesthetic Movement, and this piece is no exception. Towle. Pomona. First introduced in 1887. This piece came from the Kahn family estate auction and is part of a much larger collection of silver purchased at auction. It certainly needs a soft polish which I have not done and am selling this spoon exactly as purchased at auction with the old patina. Condition is exceptional. Superb. T is some loss to the gold wash bowl, but the brite cut incised berries are crisp and vivid. The pattern is remarkable. Intertwining berries and leaves scrolling up and down the stem. Scalloped and faceted silver bowl. Hallmark is great on the back and t is no loss or unwarranted marks. Will polish beautifully. If you are a collector of all things Towle or looking for an exquisite piece of Aesthetic sterling, this would make an exemplary piece. If you have any questions or wish additional pictures, I am happy to assist. I shall wrap your silver with extreme care and ship it to you within one day.
