This listing is for the 1887 Pinkerton's account of his spying for the Union in the Civil War. It is one of the nicest copies I have ever seen of a book that is usually pretty beat up.. A good narrative which not only tells us of Pinkerton's spying operations but also much about the military life and activites of the armies.
