Up for auction is this rare Lovell antique brass kerosene oil lamp with original chimney . It was made by F.H. Lovell and Company, who went into business around the time of the Civil War. This lamp has cut-out hearts around the bottom of the kerosene container and club shapes around the bottom. It stands 12" high without the chimney and has a 6" diameter . The shade measures 10 1/2" high and has hand blown stretch marks and bubbles through out the glass. It is in good condition.There is a flame spreader and a star on the fuel fill cover. It consists of five main parts that screw together. This lamp is in good overall condition.
