"Civil War in Song & Story 1860-1865" By Frank Moore. 122 YEARS OLD. CONDITION & DESCRIPTION: We are happy to present you a very rare book on the CIVIL WAR in Song and Story 1860-65, published by P. F. Collier, New York 1889 . Entered according to Act of Congress, in the year 1865, by Frank Moore, in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the United States, for the Southern District of New York. The book is in Good condition for its age. Light brown cloth with gilt titles on the gold background. First three pages are loose no missing pages. Binding is tight and the covers are solid with only slightly bumping and with a little fraying of the corners. The covers have some dirty spots on them. Front & Back hinges are broken but still holding strong. Owner's name on the first empty page. Pages are clean and lightly toned with age. The book contains a big index. The CIVIL WAR in Song and Story 1860-65. Collected and arranged by Frank Moore , editor of "The Rebellion Records," etc. Cloth hardcover with gilt title. The book contains 560 pages . It measures approx. 10 1/4" tall by 7" wide. Don't miss the chance of owning this great peace of history. Pictures are a part of the description. Photos are on the bottom of the page. PREFACE. In the preparation of this volume, it has been the design of the editor to preserve the most notable anecdotes and incidents of the late war, and such songs, ballads, and other pieces of versification as are worthy of perpetuation. The tragic incidents, humorous episodes, and brilliant and heroic adventures of the conflict, all lie buried in the columns of inaccessible newspapers; and it is not strange, therefore, that the editor should almost daily, for years past, have received letters requesting a re-issue of the work.
