A Lustrous CHOICE ALMOST UNCIRCULATED (AU-58) quality 1889 Russian Gold 5 Roubles of Czar Alexander II. This coin was minted St. Petersburg. This coin is minted in "Frappe Medaille" or Medal Strike. Both sides of the coin face up. We're not sure if this is normal or not as we haven't had an Alexander III 5 Roubles for quite some time. We think it's unusual as 99% of coins from this period are minted with the sides of the coins facing opposite directions (i.e. one side up and the other side down). Registered / Fully Insured Postage $13 Worldwide.
