Item# 189 Up for Auction is a GOEBEL Doe/Fawn Figurine and aMATCHING GOEBEL Doe/Fawn Collectors' Plate. Made in West Germany , the beautiful hand painted figurine of a doe and her fawn is like new. It has the following numbers on the bottom, 35 001-11. T are no flaws, chips, or marks that I can see with my untrained eye. The figurine is aprox. 4 1/2" tall. This beautiful hand painted Goebel collectors' plate is a fourth edition item in the 1978 Mothers Series. The artist's signature, G. Bochmann is embossed on upper right edge. It measures 7 ½" and is in the original gift box. The box is in overall good condition except for a partially bent corner on right flap side. The design of a fawn and its mother, in a "bas" relief, is a replica of the figurine accompanying this auction. T appears to be no crazing in the glaze, chips or scrapes and is in excellent condition to my untrained eye. The receipt w plate was purchased in Germany , is included.
