This antique Holy Bible is from 1890, it is the Pronouncing edition of the Holy Bible. Containing the authorized and revised versions of the old and new testaments, arranged in parallel columns, giving the correct pronunciation of every scripture proper name contained in the bible, by Prof. S. F. Williams. Complete concordance: Marginal references; chronological tables; a history of ancient biblical manuscripts, with fac-similies of the same; the earliest printed edition of the bible; a history of the revision of the bible etc. Published by the M.W. Hazen Co., N.Y. Over 1400 pages. The cover has come off as well as the first 6 pages. A huge amount of stunning black and while pictures and many black and white and colored plates suitable for framing. There are some stains in the bible from what looks like flowers that were pressed in the bible here and there. This is a very heavy bible, weighing 14 1/2 pounds.
