Here is one honey of a RARE perpetual double dial calendar wall clock. It is the Mantel or Hanging 'DNEISTER' Model--see pics of both examples. It has a walnut case with carvings throughout the whole front of the clock, and a 3 dimensional blooming flower on the crest, also with 6 applied rosettes. The top dial provides the time and day of the week, while the lower dial gives the month and calendar day of the month. Both movements are connected to each other and run together. The original 7 inch diameter dials are both signed by Jerome. It has one label inside indicating that the pendulum should be installed by the side door on the clock. It also has two additional original labels on the back of the clock, stating its name, that it is perpetual calendar, and also that it is mantel or hanging, so it is original, and not a conversion clock. In excellent condition, it measures 36 x 15 inches. It also strikes the hours on a bell. It is selling without any reserve and shipping is $60 within the contiguous USA. This is one clock for you to keep as the 'best of show' in your collection. Good luck on the bidding. (2q55)Stay tuned for more clocks just purchased in a couple of excellent collections. Lots of interesting clocks.
