This item is a large, 5" and 5/8" high, by 4" and 3/4" wide. It is a lithographed die cut advertising card for New Orleans Coffee Company, advertising their Morning Joy brand. Girl on left is holding a gold medal in one hand and a note stating: "In competition with the world." The girl in blue reads newspaper stating: "New Orleans Coffee Co. {limited}, Awarded Gold Medal at Atlanta Exposition." Little girl holds can of 'Morning Joy' Coffee. PLEASE READ following: This piece has light rubs on high chair legs, plus issues condition of girl in blue which is the top of her hair, tear along blue ribbon, and missing image on right part of her hair and forehead. There is a crack across her face, from cheek over nose to neck. I see some rough edges and rubs off the high chairs. Back of item has scrap and glue residue. For the past nine years, I have been looking at the Trade Cards, and have not seen any advertising the New Orleans Coffee Company, Morning Joy Brand. If anyone knows anything about this I would love to hear of it! I am guessing that these are rare items, perhaps more so after Katrina. This is a second die cut I am putting up, in a series of 16, different characters in most, but three of this scene. some are children in uniform, flags, even a hippo in one.
