RARE 1890S HOME DECORATING DECOR ILLUSTRATED WOMEN 1ST Description: ON AUCTION is a rare 1890s era home decor classic, Suggestions for House Decoration in Painting, Woodwork and Furniture. By Rhoda and Agnes Garrett, published in Philadelphia by Porter & Coates, no date, but around 1890 or so. T are 7 full page engraved prints, showing a Drawing Room, a Hall Table and Chair, Dining Room Chimney Piece, Drawing Room Chimney Piece, View of Drawing Room, Dressing Table and Glass, Initial letter on Old Linen.90 pages, 8x5 inches, bound in embossed brown cloth with titles in black. Very mild edge wear. Very uncommon. A Victorian home decorating classic.
