1890s LeMaire PINK Mother of Pearl Opera Glasses, Case This a great pair of vintage Lemarie of Paris mother of pearl opera glasses or binoculars with the original case. * 3 3/4" wide * 2 1/4" long * Lenses extend 1" * Gorgeous antique opera glasses from the late 1800's, probably around 1880. They're made from brass and wrapped in elegant PINK or APRICOT mother of pearl. The MOP has no loss or damage. The lenses are free from scratches and the optics are terrific, despite what appears to be some internal dust. The brass needs some polishing as well. It comes with a leather case that has the LeMaire bee logo on the clasp. Some wear to the leather case, but nothing too serious.Please note: I also have a matching set of leather bound Lemaire opera glasses currently listed -- the male companion set to these MOP glasses, perhaps?
