Up for auction is a rare Steel Engraving Printing Die Plate that say "This Certifies That" in both block letters and script. I would guess that this was possibly used for Stocks Cerificates or other types of certificates. This plate, measuring about 3" x 2" x 3/8, weighing about 4 ounces, is in good condition with some damage, apparently prior to being engraved. The back says "John Sellers" (and is missing "& Sons - Sheffield, England") and has their logo Sword through the letter S. This plate has the number 95 etched on the front. It comes with the cardboard holder with the number 95 hand written in fountain pen. Over the next several of weeks I will be listing more Steel Die Printing Plates. Check out the pictures.
