1890's SYMPHONION MUSIC BOX with (17) 7 5/8" Discs Wonderful Small Music Box 1890's Symphonion music box. Serial # 515682. Single comb with no teeth damage. Original finish on the burled walnut veneer case. Original and beautiful lithograph in the lid. Original crank. Winds up and plays well. I am including 17 original Symphonion music discs. 6 are Christmas songs....maybe more. In German. (O Christmas Tree and Silent Night) . Most of the discs are good quality and others show bends and wear. These tend to bind up the motor when played. I have marked the ones that play good which you will see when you receive this. The box measures 10 5/8" x 9" x 6 1/4" tall. Small wood damage can be seen around the rear hinge location. (pictured) Otherwise , a very nice early music box by one of the earliest and best makers: Symphonion.
