Occult Publishing Company. Boston: 1891. Large format journal. 8pp including front and rear cover. A short work primarily advertising books on occult and related interests, with some ads providing a brief synopsis of the work in question. Includes ads for works on Theosophy, Blavatsky’s ‘Secret Doctrine,’ Mathers ‘The Key of Solomon the King,’ etc. This issue contains an essay ‘What is God’s Word, and to what is Theosophy Repugnant?’ by W.J. Colville, as well as a brief synopsis of the recent Theosophical convention and mention of the death of H.P. Blavatsky. With a loose ad tipped in for the book ‘The Open Door’ . GOOD condition. Faint fold crease with a few other minor creases. Minor general toning to the paper. Light soiling and a few minor tears along the extremities.
