Auctiva's FREE Scrolling Gallery will enhance your listings.This auction features a rare early american pattern glass bread tray in the Silver Age pattern. This tray is in good original condition. I ran my fingers over the tray and the only damage I see is that two coins on the underside have chips on the edge of the coin edge. Please look closely at all pictures. The glass has the typical bubbles, lines and/or creases which sometimes occurred in manufacture. And, there are light utensil marks from actual use of the bread tray. It measures 8 x 10. Running down the center of the tray are liberty silver dollars (2 coin heads of Ms Liberty and 3 Eagle backs). They all face to the left, and the long side of the tray, which is an indicator that this is genuine EAPG. (In the 1960's, reproductions of this bread tray came out but they measure 7 x 10 and the heads face the short end of the tray.) I have also listed a syrup pitcher and a smaller tray in the Columbian pattern. If you buy all three, I will combine shipping.In 1892, Central Glass (along with 17 other small and struggling glass companies) merged with US Glass Company to form one large company.
