1893 Civil War Battle Of Gettysburg 30-Year Anniversary, Gettysburg Veteran Badge. The Hangar says "Gettysburg Veteran, 1863", and the medal drop obverse says "Dedication Of State Monuments At Gettysburg, July 1,2,3, 1893, New York Day", surrounding the seal of the state of New York. The reverse shows a monument between the dates 1863 and 1893 within a wreath. This is a medal that a Civil War Veteran who fought at the Battle Of Gettysburg wore at the ceremonies. Bronze, thick, 72 mm by 44 mm in size, and uncirculated condition except for the hangar being slightly bent and the ribbon is tattered and off. The winning bidder will receive the detached ribbon, with the medal. A lovely medal in near top condition.
