BOXART BOXING MEMORABILIA Presented is an original "X-Zalia" Medicine Co. advertising piece issued in 1894. The X-Zalia company were based in Boston, Massachusetts and produced a "wonderful remedy" that was to be used, as stated on the reverse, for the cure of "eczema, piles, inflammatory rheumatism, burns, scalds, guts, bruises, poison from plants or bites of insects, and all surface inflammation." Offered here is the James Corbett example from this set of four. The card is similar in size and appearance to a Cabinet Card. Measures pproximately 4" x 6.5". In VG condition. Some soiling, light creasing and a couple of small tears to the left edge (none larger than 0.5cm). Beautiful portrait of the great Champion on the front.
