1895 BOX SET ETIQUETTE GAMES AMUSEMENT FINE BINDING GIFT SET MARK TWAIN DICKENS Description: From 1895, a REMARKABLE gift set of 10 lovely books, reflecting Victorian America. We are flabbergasted that an item like this survived. The set is boxed in a fine red cloth covered slipcase, which displays the books and has the name of the publisher in gilt, The Christian Herald, New York. Inside, there are 10 different books, in near fine condition. Each book is bound in red cloth with gilt titles, lined with marbled paper, each book is 6x4 inches, almost 300 pages. They are lovely books, illustrated with engravings. We will list the books below. We can't imagine a nice Christmas gift. 1) How to Behave and How to Amuse, a Handy Manual of Etiquette and Parlor Games. Compiled by G.H. Sandison, and published by The Christian Herald, New York.
