"Mars" by Percival Lowell, Published by Houghton Mifflin, Boston, Printed by the Riverside Press, Cambridge, MA, USA, 1895, First Edition, Illustrated with Plates. A RARE and important First Edition from Lowell. This is the first of his three well known books on Mars. In Good condition with moderate shelf wear and some staining to the base of the cover and first couple pages; spine sunned and worn at ends; binding is strong and tight; free of hinge cracking or writing or markings.
