Illustrated with Portraits, and published by Thomas Y. Crowell and Co., New York. Bound in green decorated cloth, 8x5 inches, 399 pages. There is an inked signature, a little hard to read, looks like Elizabeth B. Detmiller, or something like that. Among those profiled here: John Drew Edwin Booth (John Wilkes Booth's brother) Madame Modjeska Clara Morris John Gilbert (played opposite Greta Garbo in the silents) J. Lester Wallack Joseph Jefferson Lotta Crabtree John Drew was the namesake of today's Drew Barrymore.
