Authentic billhead from 1896 for the supply of Ale from the original Renshaw and Cardwell's Naval Brewery in Hulme, Manchester. Complete with 1d Lilac revenue tax stamp this is a great historical item. The receipt is affixed over the Renshaw name on the billhead because the brewery had changed it's name to "Cardwell & Co Ltd" as can be seen with the addition of the "& Co Ltd" stamp below the Cardwell name.
