Up for bid is an 1896 Illustrated Lorain County Ohio Atlas. My mother inherited the atlas and I am listing it on Ebay for her. Both front and back covers are damaged and are detached from the back binding which is missing (see photo). The internal pages are still bound together. I did not notice any loose sheets. T is some staining on some of the sheets and yellowing, but most look fairly clear. The attached photos are pretty representative of the page quality. The book is approximately 19 in. X 15 in. and has approximately 150 pages. It includes the various cities and townships of Lorain County Ohio , including Oberlin, Wellington , Lorain , Elyria , Amherst , etc. T are also some photos cities, including Amherst , Elyria , Oberlin, Lorain , Grafton, and others. The maps include school house locations, Electric RR and Street Car lines. Included is a listing of the prominent citizens of various cities and townships with portrait photos and a short bibliography. T are also a few business listings, including photos of the Oberlin Business College . If you need further detail or high resolution photos, just let me know. Thanks for looking
