A beautiful original lithograph Saint-Jean du Doigt, created by the artist Moreau Nelaton. This lithograph was included as a plate in Ernest Maindron's book "Les Affiches illustrées (1886-1895)" printed in Paris by l'Imprimerie Chaix in 1896. The book was printed in an edition of 1,025 and had 64 color plates of which this is one, making it quite rare. This was taken from an already disbound volume #534 of the 1025.It is in good condition with some very minimal aging of the paper but otherwise no rips or tears; It has been covered with the original onion skin protective paper for all these years. The lithograph measures approximately 8 3/4 x 12 1/4 inches overall with the image measuring approximately 5 1/2 x 8 inches. Will be carefully shipped between two pieces of thick cardboard. Postage will certainly be adjusted if there is a multiple purchase. Thank you for looking. Please study photos carefully and Email with any question. A great addition to any collection!
