Offering a rare 1897 Glass OYSTER Whiskey Flask with a zinc cap. It is shaped like an oyster and will fit perfect in your hand. The metal cap screws on and off easily and fits very secure. On the bottom edge in the glass it reads "PAT JAN 8 1897".This flask looks like the same bottle as the Tony Faust Oyster House without the inscription - possibly a very early prototype.This Oyster shaped flask measures 6" long, 3-3/4" wide, & 1-3/4" thick.This bottle is in good condition with no cracks or breaks however it is a chip around the lid and has paint loss (see pictures) but most flask this age has total paint loss.
