1897 OFFICIAL QUEEN VICTORIA JUBILEE MEDAL IN BRONZE AND IN ORIGINAL BOX The Jubilee Medal 1897 was issued to commemorate the Golden (60th) Jubilee of Queen Victoria. The Medal was 30mm in diameter and was issued in gold, silver and bronze.In all cases the ribbon was blue with wide white stripes at both edges.In all cases the medal was issued unnamed. The obverse side contained a profile of Queen Victoria and the reverse side had a wreath which encloses the text " In Commemoration of the 60th Year of the Reign of Queen Victoria 21 June 1897".
