Offered is a 24-card near set of T63 "Generals" issued by Le Roy Little Cigars between 1898 and 1901, missing Sternberg for compeltion. While Generals are featured in this production, Naval Leaders and members of McKinley's administration are also included. Issued in either a small (gold, borderless type) or large (white border that extends past the gold borders) size which was most likely due to the different package sizes that were used to distribute the product. This assembly is a matching smaller-sized format! One card has been graded by PSA. Includes: Alger, Clark, Corbin, Dewey, Evans, Grant, Greene, Hobson, Kent, Lawton, Lee, Long, McKinley, Merritt, Miles, Roosevelt, Sampson, Schley, Shafter, Sigsbee, Wainwright, Wheeler, Wood (PSA GD 2) and Woodford. Grades 42% VG to VG/EX (one with an irregular edge), 21% GD to GD/VG, 37% PR to FR (mostly present at the VG to VG/EX level, downgraded due to back damage).
