This is a cabinet card taken in 1898 of a corner in Mrs. Gray’s dining room. There is a large shelf with lots of dishes, baskets, and books, including one entitled “Europe Illustrated.” Propped up against the wall are three tennis rackets and on the left is a large framed screen with an oriental bird design. In the right side of the image you can see young woman seated under a lamp reading a book. The picture was taken in Oswego, but I don’t know what state. No photographer identified. Overall size: 6” x 5 ¼”. A bit of light soiling and image is slightly faded, however details can still be clearly seen. No bends. THE FINE PRINT: Buyer pays $2.20 for shipping/handling. Will send priority mail for an additional charge. To decrease buyer’s postage costs, I will gladly combine items won over a 7 day period. BUYER’S PROTECTION: Satisfaction guaranteed! Purchase price (minus postage and listing fees) refunded if item returned in original condition within 14 days of auction end. Payment expected within 7 days from end of auction.
